Welcome, Friends!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been journaling my journey with God. Mostly, I allow Him to navigate. Occasionally, I take matters into my own hands, ending up in the ditch. Whether in the ditch or on the high road, I am writing.

In 2013, I began blogging my experience as a recovering codependent, formerly married to a cocaine-addicted Christian.

Two years later, my first book, Same Dress, Different Day was released. Since then, I’ve become the adoptive mom of two teens from Ukraine, published a second book and started writing a children’s series on tough topics like adoption, addiction and abuse.

After more than 20 years of teaching elementary students to read and write, I’ve quit my day job to focus on my own writing and ministry.

Passionate about addiction recovery, I participate in a weekly 12 Step group and encourage others to do the same. I enjoy conducting “Recovery Awareness Weekends” in churches and introducing the culture of recovery as a way of Christian life. As an itinerant speaker for women, recovery groups and congregations, I joyfully share my inspirational journey.

“When Mr. P let go of the unhappy legalistic view of what he thought was ‘true religion,’ grace flooded his life with the 3 P’s – Peace, Purpose, and his Principessa. My spiritual journey was richly deepened as I read this book.”

“Genuine Healing and Transformation”

“I found myself reading without wanting to stop. As I Walked reflects the simplicity and natural relationship Geoff pursued with God. If a person can grasp God’s calling, compassion and ‘true love’ for them, genuine healing and transformation can take place. This is what I get from your book!”
